Our Story
ShieldFive started the day a well-known "secure" cloud provider quietly admitted they were scanning user files. We were privacy engineers storing sensitive documents - and we realized the industry was built on blind trust and hidden access.
So we built our own storage system. Local-first. File-per-key. Zero-knowledge by design - not by marketing copy. What began as "just protect our own files" became a mission: give anyone the ability to store and share data without surveillance, scanning, profiling, or platform access.
About the Founder
Cho is a entrepreneur and security-focused developer who has spent over a decade building encrypted systems, cloud infrastructure, and high-reliability software.
