ShieldFive is zero-knowledge storage built for people who refuse to be scanned, analyzed, fingerprinted, or profiled. We do not ask for trust - we remove the need for it. Your files stay fully encrypted before they ever leave your device. No "secure" shortcuts, no hidden scanning, no AI models training on your life. This is cloud storage where the platform has zero access, zero visibility, and zero excuses.
ShieldFive started the day a well-known "secure" cloud provider quietly admitted they were scanning user files. We were privacy engineers storing sensitive documents - and we realized the industry was built on blind trust and hidden access.
We decided to build a system where that update would be impossible — not because of policy, but because of math.
So we built our own storage system. Local-first. File-per-key. Zero-knowledge by design - not by marketing copy. What began as "just protect our own files" became a mission: give anyone the ability to store and share data without surveillance, scanning, profiling, or platform access.
That's not a limitation we're working around. That's the entire product.
